Boards and Commissions Overview

The City Council encourages resident involvement in City government and relies on dedicated residents who wish to serve the City as a volunteer on various Boards and Commissions. The Boards and Commission Selection Committee interviews interested applicants and make their appointment recommendations to the City Council. Residents must be a registered voter, a resident for at least two years, and not in debt to the City.

City of Northville invites residents to apply for open seat on the Planning Commission

The Northville City Council is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission, with members selected by the Northville City Council. The commission has nine members that serve three-year staggered terms. It regularly meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
